I came across a set of 18x9.5 +22 te37. What would all need to be done to fit these on a stock body evo 8? I figure a roll and depending on how low i am a pull. Wondering on camber amounts. I dont want to have a bunch of camber for when i have to swap the slick on the car.

The +22 plus the 9.5" width is on the wild side
You will need the full rear fender treatment (roll, pull, bumper bolt relocation & a camber set above -1.8).

Please note: This suggestion is for full clearance, not dependent on ride height

that plus having run this fitment before on another Evo... and if you are going for a flush look, more like -2.2 F and 2 R at minimum.

below a pic of my old Evo running spec above with all four fenders roll dropped on Tein springs. Rubbed at full lock. Those were 255s all around.

1st

2nd

3rd

and current..

long story short... 1st I was buying a house so sold it after owning it for 2 years... 2nd, I thought I wanted a X so I got one (was my 3rd)... and I sold the X because I realized the 8/9s were the best Evos. So the current one is and will be my last one.

I wished I had done more research on these forums before buying my 2nd one. Maybe I would of just bought a X GSR instead of MR and kept it. But I love my RS. I doubt I will ever sell it but if I ever do I do not think I will buy another one. Just a lot of work to get one exactly the way you want them...

Yeah I'll probably pass on those wheels then. I don't want to run all the camber and pull the rears just yet. I might be ok with a roll. My little evo don't even have 30,000 miles on it yet and it's a 2004 hahaha. The other options i have were 18x9.5 konig hypergrams +25 clear and I see some people didn't do any fender work (all depending on the ride height obviously) and the second choice is yet another set of rpf1 17x9.5 +38 with a 20mm spacer to clear the front brembos. I just don't know if i want a third set of rpf1.

The +25's in the 9.5 width are tough as heck to fit. More than a roll is needed as well. But, just want you to know, my fitment advice is always this: Please note: This suggestion is for full clearance, not dependent on ride height

Of course, the +38's are very friendly to the EvO as that is our OEM offset. But due to the 9.5 width, depending on tire size & rear camber set, a rear roll may be needed
