Wheels & Specs that fit Evo 8/9/X

Can we get a list going of known Wheels/sizes/mods that will
a) Clear Brembos
b) Clear Strut
c) Clear Fenders (not as much a necessity as the other two)

Not starting a new "Stance" or "Aggressive Fitment" pictures thread. I just think it would be beneficial to so many ppl to have a list of wheels sorted by Brand, sizes & maybe a little info on mods such as spacers, fenders Rolled n Pulled etc.. I know there's a lot of ppl who don't know much about wheel fitment, or what effect offset even has on the fitment.
I only know of a handful that fit w/o mods, but I could just start a list based off of what ppl post.
Just a thought. I've been having a hard time finding exactly what I want compared to what will work & if there was a list, I'd have less of a headache right now lol

My first setup that I ran (if I remember correctly - didn’t require rolled fenders)

Hey @GreekEvo9

Cant comment on the front caliper clearance, but as far as rear fender clearance, the +34 in the 9" width gives you a lot of room for tire

That 245/40 should fit very nice & that 40 series will really give it a nice meaty look. Still would recommend a rear fender roll if you havent done than yet

@DSMolition

Yeah, that offset is way too deep. After all, our stock offset is +38. You would need to run spacers front & rear to make that work & the spacer size would likely be very thick (well over 1" / 25mm)

Your best RPF1 choice is the tried / true 17x9.5 +38

According to oakes they make the SBC in a 17 bx 9.5 + 18 or 17 by 8.5 + 30. To fit the + 18 with 255 40 tires do I need to do more than a little bit of camber and to roll the fenders?

@DSMolition The +18's are really just meant for the fronts w/no spacer (RPF1). You can not run these in the rear effectively w/out a lot of rub issues.

Some have run the +18's in front & the +38's in the rear but you can not rotate

Your best bet IMO, is to run the 17x9.5 +38 all around so you can rotate the tires. That setup is what most 17" guys run in the RPF

Does anyone run the Ray's gram light 57dr in the 17x9 +38 or the 18x9.5 +38. I can't find much info on them. I know I would need a spacer up front.

I'm about to give up on the rpf1 in SBC. They dont sell a good fitting wheel in that color anymore.😣

Did some searching on the 57DR & did not find too much in the way of EvO (CT9A) fitment. With that +38 offset, youre right that front spacer usage might be required

The 9" width is very modest & so it the +38 (no poke w/that offset). That 18" in the 9.5 would likely have a bit better look & would poke just a bit more due to the 9.5" width & the fact that its 18" (18"'s have a better look IMO, unless you go aggressive w/the 17's)

Just a few thoughts (.02)
