in case you are not a fan of the stock XXR center cap, the emblem in the center is replacable.
you can go with any of these for example:

I'm running Kumho 4x tires, 255/40-17. Fenders are rolled but, I think you could get away without having them rolled. I'm not riding to low right now on my D2 coilovers. Heres another pic.

Sounds great, thanks for replying! I have 2 sets of stock size 235/45 so I will run those until I need new tires. Im at the same height maybe a bit lower so I shouldnt have to roll fenders with the smaller tire, thanks again.

I get A LOT of compliments on my car, and even more on the wheels. School parking patrol stops me, motorcycle dudes pass tell me they like the car, thumbs up from motorist when I'm mobbing the streets and highway. I hear valet guys talk about the car as I pay them $ for self parking @ the club, I really think its the wheels.

Your car looks awesome. What suspension mods are you on?

so you only needed to roll the rear fenders one the viii for the 18 x 9.75? Everybody seems to have trouble with them... i can't wait to get that setup looks so tight!

Checkout willtheyfit.com for reference if you are concerned about fitment. You can compare to stock wheel size and go from there. They give you all sorts of specifications and info.

I've had these on my car since the wheels came out about 3 years ago, no cracks, no bends, no chips. Only curb rash I got on 1 was my fault lol. I dont think they make the bronze ones anymore. I DD my car all over Dallas streets are not the nicest either I've hit some nasty potholes and not 1 single issue.

I'm running 17x8.25 +25 with 255/40/17.
Stock suspension on Tein s-tech
Depending on what tire you run you will have to roll the fenders. The Falken FK452's cleared as well as the Bridgestone Potenza re760's. While I was running the Hankook Rs-3 I had to roll the rears

I bought 521 a couple months ago, they fit with no spacers up front, clear the Brembos by 3mm or so. These are the +25 18s

I love mine...

I have had gold XXR 527 18x8.75's on my evo 9 mr for a couple months now and i absolutely love them. no they aren't Volks and they most likely don't drop any weight from the car compared to the stock BBS, but for less than $500 for a set theres almost nothing to complain about. The only thing that I have to say about them is that they are a very soft wheel, which is understandable, but the second they TOUCH a curb you lose some wheel. with that said, i get compliments on my car almost daily, and really the only exterior mod is my wheels. {thumb up}

Just remembered, i did need a fender roll with them, and i still scrape my tire a little in the back when i have a full car.

I can't speak from experience but to answer the OP s question about them being good I've seen multiple threads on other sites such as SoCalevo stating that the wheels break instead of bend because they're cast, but you would really have to hit something hard to do so

I have a set in 17s, love them, had to have my fenders rolled all the way around, and i have some meaty tires on them.

Love the look, feel good, get lots of compliments and looks.
