Invo's are probably what I'll be getting once I have a summer set of rims...I've always liked them and they are multi-directional so I can rotate them properly

I have only had these PS2s for 300 miles. Have not driven them in the rain or participated in any track events. All my driving has been on dry roads. My previous tires were Advans 046 and one Bridgestone RE030. Car was purchased this way, plus one of the Advans was very worn.

Still not getting the point of this thread.

Discounts or rebates aside; PS2s are $50 more than Z1s. $183 a tire.

Conti DW are $139 in the same size. $10 cheaper than the Z1s.

Z1s are still one of the hands-down proven tires for AX and street use.

I do not disagree if you say the Z1 is the best tire for AX and street use. Not everyone has the same needs/desires for their setup. I really wanted to get a quiet, smooth tire that had decent traction but offered a little more comfort. The PS2 seems to work quite well for my needs.

Ah, could you make that more clear in the first post? What you wanted / what the tires gave you.

back from the dead.. I just wanted to chime in that my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S lasted 50k miles.. and were about 9/10 as grippy as the stock advans. Got 107k miles on the evo now, Maybe go to something a little cheaper though, SInce I don't drive it nearly as hard .
