Evo 4 wheel offset
Evo 4 wheel offset
I have evo4 with evo8 wheels. Evo4 has et45 but evo8 has et38. My wheels are a bit (some 2-3mm) wider than body (photo in signature). I want to change them so car look nice. Should I look for et40? Will it be fine? As I know evo8 wheels are 8j wide. How wide are original evo4?
Thank you
Thank you
The original evo4 wheels are 16x6.5 +46.
When I had my evo4 I ran evo5 wheels which are 17x7.5 +38 and they sat just inside the gaurds.
So for an 8" wheel you'll need to bump up the offset, only problem is if you want to do a brembo conversion they won't fit unless you run spacers.

Initially I did have rubbing but I got the rear guard lip shaved down and trimmed down the rear bumper bracket in the wheel well.
That fixed most of the problems and never got any rubbing, but then again the car wasn't stupidly low or anything.
