Longer strut tophat mount studs/bolts

Anyone know of a source for longer studs for the stock tophats for the front struts on the VIII/IX ? I would prefer that to bolts, but in any case want them 1/2" longer for an idea im pursuing.

LMK, please

I can't help you, but you have WRC in your name. Are you thinking spacers like I've seen run a lot on the Subarus?

yeah paranoid fabrications did those a lot.

Not sure if he shut down. I think he had a deep nut or extender that worked for that

Yes something like that. essentially a 1/2" aluminum spacer plate to go between the tophat mounting surface and the underside of the strut tower. What this would do is allow me to have a better angle on the lower control arm, lift the car 1/2 inch and still keep the benefits of the Swift SpecR's spring rate.

So reduce the effect of the roll centre due to the drop from the Swift SpecR, give me better ground clearance for the winter, keep the spring rate. Toe will be affected minorly but easily fixed.

In theory :-)
