Outlander Master Cyl very similar to RS...

Noticed this when rummaging through the local junk yard. The mitsu outlander master cylinder is very similar to the RS master with the only difference being the reservoir (easily swapped with evo resi) and that its 1" rather than 7/8". Obviously Mitsu knew what they were doing when they designed the factory braking system, but I am curious to see if anyone has run one of these? I can't imagine it's too much different but I also know that it doesnt take much to completely change the way the brakes feel, especially when ABS is no longer involved. I would love to hear from someone who has done it.

I am pretty sure the prop valves from the RS master could be swapped in actually. I may install one on my car once its running, but i have been considering deleting the booster so going larger definitely wouldnt help ha

So when I initially posted this I Mis-typed and the RS is actually 1" in size, so this outlander master is pretty much the exact same thing. I believe it was an 05 model btw

Yeah I was just about to say check out STM. I believe they are the same, but give stm a call. They are always super helpful every time I have needed assistance.

Lancer is 7/8" though so you will have a slightly different pedal feel than with an RS master. I actually have two non abs lancer masters that I don't need if anybody wants one
