tire size fitment question
so i have rota g-force 18x9 +27 with a hankook ventus v12 245/40r18 and im going to be getting the Michelin as3+ in the next few months. my question is what size you would recommend? im thinking of 255/40 or 255/35 maybe even a 265 if it will fit, im just not sure what one to get that fits the best. car is on tanabe springs with front and rear fenders rolled. and it is a street car.

If you run the 255/35, you may be able to get away w/out the rear fender pull, depending on how tight the rear roll is
If you go w/the 265/40 or the 35 series tire, i feel the rear pull & bumper bolt relocation will be needed

The one thing in your favor is the 9" wheel. If this were a 9.5" you would need a rear fender pull for sure regardless of what tire you choose (unless you went w/a super stretch

i was leaning toward the 255/35 because looking at the rear with 245/40 it seems to be a bit snug but doesnt touch anything, and that with -1 degree of camber all the way around. im just not very tire savy so i wasnt sure how much different the as3+ is to the v12 thats currently on the car
Federals are a good example. Their sizes are all one size larger in width than noted

thats good to know, only getting the as3+ because i work at costco and we are having a stupid deal on Michelin's right now. $70 off a set and penny install so its like a $150 off the set which is nice. but thank you, i got all the info i needed should have some nice meat to match the power output now , (recently went fp red, cams, injectors) the whole nine yards and shes making 400/350 so wanted as much rubber as i could fit
