Lug Nuts

Hey,

I know many of you have aftermarket wheels....what after market lug nuts do you have and where did you get them from? Also, what is the thread size and pitch for the evo wheel studs? I am getting the 5zigen fn01r-c and need to get some lug nuts that will fit.

Thanks,
EvoMike

Here are a few company you might want to consider McGard, Rays, Ralliart
The size for the lug nut is 12mmX1.5

cheaper alternatives are zenki (forged) and muteki (duraluminum).

Arrow

Mach V has the forged ones, and Summit Racing has the McGard spline drive lug nuts.

A lot of aftermarket wheels use 'tuner' lug nuts, which have smaller heads than the gigantic stock nuts.

As Lacoste mentioned, we stock forged aluminum ones. I am using them on my on Evo with the FN01R-C's.

The stock wheel uses a special Mitsubishi lug nut that has a built-in flange. I'm afraid there's no aftermarket replacement that'll fit the OEM wheel.

Which lugs do the MR BBSs use?

Skunk 2 makes a cool but expensive titanium alloy nut that will fit. It's incredibly light - 5 weight about what 1 stock one does. It's open ended so it works with longer studs. It has cool knurled end that make them easier to spin on. They cost $5 each. They have the angled seat you need for most aftermarket wheels. They will not work with OEM wheels. They are between gun-metal and bronze in color.
