Claudius,

All things are expensive in 'rip off' Britain!

We need to petition OZ to make the Superleggeras available for the Evo5/6.

Those wheels are really light and arent too expensive and looks good. They would be an excellent wheel for the Evo.

It's a pity they currently fit only the Evo7.

I've got a plan: I'll get the 8/18 Superleggeras and use them with the spacer first and then when I get my Movit Brakes, I can get rid of the spacers as the disc is 10mm further inside the wheel (cheers Gerrit). Hmmm,... how does that sound?

Clive,

do the 18" Superleggeras rub on the inside of the wheelarches? What size and which tires are you using? Does the edge last when driving on track?

No, the whole moving of the disc further inward saves 10mm, i.e. with Superleggeras you'l still have 7mm.

I covered almost everything in the movit thread on the Lancer register.

The movit monobloc is 2.3kg compared to an AP six pot which weighs 3kg. This is 20% lighter. I haven't compared them to the standard ones but I'm sure their lighter as they use the monobloc design so no heavy steel bolts.

Clearance is no problem with a GSR. As the Makinen has a different lower arm assembly the whole kit only moves about 5mm inside so with this Superleggera I can't definetely say if the clearance is enough.

Sorry didn't read Michael answer. If the SL wheels still have 7mm left than even with moving the disc only 5mm inside you've got 2mm left so clearance is enough.

I soon need a compensation from movit for my work!!!!!! Getting e-mails from people all around the world with questions regarding movit!

Cheers

don't think you can get a warranty on brakes. But you won't need any anyway as their up to the job!

No probs with the BOV. But please send it to me before february so I can install it before I take my car out again.

Cheers

Gerrit said the Movit caliper is as wide as the standard one or I got it wrong. Listen, I'll call Guido next week and find out... need some more info myself anyway. There's a few questions I want to ask before I spent 4500 DM for the fronts or over 8000DM for the whole set I think.

Michael,

I am using 225/40/18 SO2's on the Superleggeras and have no clearance problems with the wheels and tyres. I have used them on the track a couple of times and the tyres do wear quite badly on the edges, even with -2 deg camber and highish pressures. I normally use my standard rims on the track with slicks.

Claudius,

Just for interest my front springs are 7.6kg/mm and rear springs are 6.7kg/mm.
