I can't shed much light on the Weapon R piece but I can offer you some advice.
Buy the Carbing strut bar and it incorporates it onto the bar. Kill two birds with one stone.

what kind of torque damper is that? did you connect it with strut bar?

I have the Cusco triangulated strut bar with the integrated master cylinder brace and it did make a difference in stiffening up the brake pedal under braking. Just another option to consider.
