spring rates on kw's?
i am getting some kw varient 3's from robi next week and have to make a choice on spring rates.
the car is a daily driver but i am pretty involved in autocross, and will hit the track a few times this summer. robi recomended 7k front 8k rear for daily driving but i dont care at all how stiff the suspension is, i dont mind having a stiff ride. he said that i could get 8k front 9 k rear if i didnt care about ride quality which is what i am thinking of doing. the only thing is i dont want any body roll at all and i dont want to be stuck with too soft a spring by going with 7k 8k but how bad does the ride quality get from going to 8k 9k? thanks and any responses would be appreciated |

I've had 8k/9k on for about two weeks now and it seems fine if you set the rebound and bump up for street. If you plan to be competitive in autocross, I suggest going with the 8/9.

thats also something i was wondering.....i think he said that the 8k/9k wont be too bad for the strut on the street setup or something like that he was saying......
maybe he'll come on here and clear it up! |
