symetric tires for the evo?
 

stick with me here.. i'm actually thinking of this for one reason.. ROTATING!.. in know.. crazy concept right? but my thinking is along the lines of.. "if i could rotate my tires properly instead of just front to back and visa versa, i could get a lot more life out of my tires, right?" thoughts anyone? and are there any out there that are sporty enough for our cars?.. just another random thought by me.. just wanted to see what you guys thought..

oh, and i am thinking of just a regular everyday tire, not autocross or anything like that. (i've already got those covered :D), and just the stock 17" also..

You could also rotate asymmetrical tires any position on the car. That will help open up a lot of options as well. Not many, if any, tires in the EVO size or perf class are going to be symmetrical. Better chance at asymmetrical.

You can cross rotate Falken RT615's

but if you did that, wouldnt your tires be rolling the wrong way? or do you mean taking them off the rim and flipping them?

Nope. Asymmetrical tires, if mounted properly with with the word "outside/this side out" facing outward, will always be turning the correct direction. No need to take them off the wheels.

ok.. is there a difference between asymetrical and directional? or are they the same? because i have tires that say "rotate this way" if they went to the other side of the car.. they would rotate backwards.. please excuse my ignorance in this matter.. i'm just curious
