I've had it

everything is breaking or has been broken. prevouis owner popped a strut on the right side and only fixed the right side, guessing he didnt get an alignment cuz it pulls mad ballz, so now the left has gone out, i was planning on buying struts, but forget it, i want the strongest somewhat cheapest setup i can do. i will most likely be going with coilovers, unless someone can tell me there setup and prove me otherwise, but what do you think is the toughest coilover. thanks guys.

Bilsteins with a good spring (Works, Swift, GT Worx) will do plenty good.

If you're trying to stay somewhat cheap, i would avoid the somewhat cheap coilovers as they're not generally known for their longevity or reliability. I'd actually avoid coilovers all together. Avoid camber plates too.

Bilsteins with a mild drop or stock spring won't give you trouble. Swift Sports (not spec R) or our GTWorx springs come to mind.

that sucks a lot. i feel like if you're going to go for coilovers you should do it right (even if it costs a little more) personally i'd just try to pickup a low mileage stock setup and be done with it.

What is wrong with the Spec R's?

Mad Gorilla1911 Jul 9, 2009 02:40 PM

what im getting

the spec r's a little to performanceywormance for what i will be doing, im going to buy the bilstein struts and the sportmach springs non spec r, the only problem im worried about at this moment is, will it fit my 18x9+30 offset konigs without any fender rollings, i dont know if i want the sportmach springs, or the GTWork, i dont really want to lower it, i like where it is now.
