275/40-17's

Any issues running 275/40-17's on a set of 17x10's +18 RPF1's. Currently running Flex Coilovers and rolled fenders. Right now, running 255/40-17's and want to go wider.

Anyone running 265/40-17's?

Even with massive camber i dont see it fitting with that offset. +35 or so would be much better. Im shocked the 255's actually fit.

Just because he's running them doesn't mean they fit.

Come on Bro. W/out some serious stock body work I dont see this working too well

I run a 275/40/17 but Im using a 9" wheel @ the +29 offset & that required approx 7 hours of professional work to fit properly

Remember: The suspension must be able to be stroked like this to truly fit:lol:

What does it take to get them to fit? I have 17x9 +30's and rub occasionally on the lip with 255/40's but im not rolled at all and im only running -1.2 of camber in back. Thanks!

My set-up is only 1mm further outboard than you so it should be the same.
I needed a fender roll & a fender pull using a small Porta-Pwr. Also, the rear bumper bolt is re-located approx 2" further to the rear.
My camber settings are just like yours at -1.2. Adding aggressive camber to fit large wheels/tires is not the right approach IMO.

I'm running 265/40/17 Dunlop Z1's on 17x9.5+35 wheels with 15mm spacer up front. I had to do a pretty significant roll to the rears so they don't rub but since it was done, I'd never know the difference. Honestly though with an offset of +18 thats gonna be really tough and will probably never fit right without pulling/flaring of the rear fender.
