Creaking from Driver's Front when Turning
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SYzA...ature=youtu.be
Noise is only present with the car on the ground. Once lifted up, no creaking can be heard. Bumps do not seem to effect the noise, only turning. No slop in the left front wheel when in the air (wheel bearing and tie rods both feel solid), I got under there with a pry bar multiple times only to find nothing that replicates that sound when moving things. Stance coilovers, whiteline tie rods/ball joints, any ideas? |
I'm thinking of buying a used rack as I think its coming from the ps gearbox itself.
Edit: I've touched the coilovers while moving the wheel, I don't feel any vibrations really. |
Sounds like the Whiteline Ball Joints to me maybe?

seagulls?

I'm curious as well. I have a similar noise also. I'm running bc racing coils and a whiteline roll center kit. Haven't been able to figure out what's causing the creaking.

I had creaking issues but it never squealed like yours. Eventually, I heard a pop and the creaking stopped. Found out it was because of this:

GRRRRRR. Yep, just found out when doing a Perrin PSRS and steering rack. What a way to end 5 hours of torture =P. |
