Running KW V3s? What camber plates are you using?
Me dumb a$$ didn't know they came without camber plates. Now need to order a set. What's available?
Hey Vic
I bet most guys will note to get the Vorshlag plates. I just installed a new set of Fortune Auto 510 track c/o's & really like them. Cant go wrong with KW's{thumbup} Joe |
I just can't believe for the price you don't get plates! Thought the V1 were the ones without plates.
Joe,I found those but only for the front. What about the rear?
Vic
PM Andrew / screen name: GTWORX.com here on EVOM. He knows! They sell the plates for the KW's |
Vorschlag for the front, stock for the rear, and not getting camber plate is a good thing, you can pick what you want.
That means i have to source a rear Mount!
I used the stock rear mounts when I used to have KWs
Vorshlag does indeed make rear spherical mounts as well if you're looking to stick with one brand.
Most evo plates should fit the KW's as long as you have the correct top nut so you should have many options ranging from Vorshlag to Ciro Disign Racing to Cusco to Tein. |
Thanks for the info!
I have stock on my KWv3 Robispecs
I probably wouldn't mind using the stock mounts but I also need them to look good!
Nice topmounts
Other than Vorshlag, these look great ... made by or for DMS:
http://www.mooresport.com/indexe.php...ble-top-mounts EXE-TC are also stunningly nice: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=334754 Both EXE-TC and DMS move the bearing up which will allow for additional suspension travel ... Both make rear mounts too if you are spendy ... |
I have a set of Vorshlag plates on order for these KW V3s and I've been told you don't need plates for the rear.
Those Exe-tc look great.
Golgo, correct, i just need to get an OEM Mount anyway. |
