Brake squeal when turning
So about 2 weeks ago I installed EBC Yellowstuff pads with Centric high carbon rotors up front. I have about 300 miles on them and they feel great, much better than the stock Brembo's.
Surprisingly, despite people saying they were noisey, they have been dead quiet and dust is pretty low. The only thing that's bothering me is that every time I turn right and apply the brakes it squeals. LOUD. Like a dynamic brake on a train lol. Going straight and turning left with the same pressure is dead quiet. What could be the issue? I used plenty of grease on the back of the pads but maybe not enough? Any ideas? |
Not sure why turning right would activate this noise:confused:
Have you checked dust shield clearance, confirming no rub? Did you check your caliper torque? Running the factory shims? Wheel lugs torqued? Brake pins clean & free of corrosion? Lubed? |

Update
Ran the car at a local HPDE and guess what, no more squeal haha. Guess the rotors just needed some high speed hot stops to bed them in fully
