Question about wheel knock off VSXX offset fitmit
Ok so it's kind of a long shot I know, but the thing I'm trying to figure out is if this rim with a 8 mm spacer(or smaller) will have the proper CALIPER CLEARANCE. They are not going on an evo, however they are going over Evo Brembos on 2g DSM. If anyone could throw any input my way I'd appreciate it.
These are the exact wheels im looking into. http://m.ebay.com/itm/18X10-5-ESR-SR01-Wheels-5x114-3-22-Hyper-Black-Rims-Set-of-4-/401116514406?hash=item5d64684866%3Ag%3AkygAAOSwLs5XK7qz&_trkparms=pageci%253A5d65e3f7-3ba5-11e6-a7b2-74dbd180f6a8%257Cparentrq%253A8cfc91121550a793c5003b32fffb88b3%257Ciid%253A6 |

Caliper clearance will be the least of concerns here. Does this Eclipse have a wide body kit?

Dont think the Eclipse fenders are not as generous as the EVO, its just that size is on the wild side w/the +22 & the 10.5
Caliper clearance has nothing to do w/rim width, diameter or offset. It is completely independent of all those factors. The caliper area of the wheel is known as the X-factor. The +22 does help w/caliper clearance but due to the flat spoke design, it may still need a spacer. BTW, One of my close friends is a former DSM'r. Anyway, sorry couldnt help out, but that was a tough question for sure https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...6029fbe318.jpg |

And before it's mentioned, reasoning for the knock offs and not finding authentic 4K dollar wheels with the perfect offset is thanks to the ****ty Tennessee roads around me. I couldn't imagine spending that much money on wheels just to have one bent. Just isn't practical for me.
