Brake pads that bite better than stock when cold Evo 2?
 

Hi,
I am looking for some pads for my Evo 2 that bite better than stock when cold. Must be able to hold my auto converted car at the starting line with the brakes while building boost. I see that the DSM guys love the Brakeman #93, but they dont make these pads for my Evo 2... Anyone knows other brands compound that would do well for my application? Hawk HP Plus seems to bite well when cold if I understand their chart correctly?

Doubtful. OEM-equivalent pads are made with safety in mind. They are probably going to work better in cold/normal temps than any other pad. I.E. performance pads tend to work like crap when cold and only wake up with a bit of heat in them.
If you are suffering poor brake performance, you have something else going on. If you just want something that bites better, you'll have to push harder :D
