These are just like a stainless brake lines they will last a long time.

We have not seen any of the other companies first hand so I cannot comment on that. However we have been making these types of clutch line kits for the DSM for years and they work awesome.

No they are braided stainless lines like the brakelines you see out there. I don't see a reason to PVC coat it. If your looking for some way to disguise it from the dealer go buy some heat shrink tubing from your local radioshack and put it over the line and shrink it down it will make the whole thing black.

Why hide it from the dealer, isn't it DOT approved and doesn't it meet or exceed OEM specs? If so, it is a legitimate replacement for a consumable item and should not in any way affect warranty.
