These pads feature a hotter compound than our standard Magic pads and are capable of maintaining braking efficiency up to 1000 degrees. Inevitably these will dust a little more than our Magic pads and can make a little noise from time to time however with our anti noise backing plates which all pads will come with we have heard very little to no noise from these pads.
Comparatively the Girodisc S/S pads perform very similarly to the Ferodo DS2500's, a pad which we have had very good luck with in the past.

Why Choose MAP Machining Services?
We utilize a Serdi seat and guide machine that provides us with some of the industry's finest valve jobs. We not only cut seats for the non performance market, but have also designed specific cutters that we use in all our modern 4 valve heads. Every head is also vacuum checked after each seat is cut to ensure that no head leaves with a poor sealing valve. We would then typically set and adjust the installed valve tip height to our specs to ensure proper valve train geometry is maintained.
We also have a resurfacing machine that provides a superior RA, or finish, on both cast and aluminum blocks and heads, which is crucial for proper head gasket sealing in modern engines. Ours uses the CBN cutters and provides a superior finish to the older, multi-cutter systems that many shops still use.
MAP has several options for your cylinder head, but porting services start at stage 3:

If you've experienced a clutch master cylinder failure or are simply being proactive, MAP is here to help. We have seen the stock plastic clutch master cylinder fail with upgraded clutches and/or spirited driving; Here is a solution that anyone should be able to install with basic hand tools from the comfort of your own garage.
With this kit there is no need to remove the pedal assembly and cut the ball joint as we include a billet ball joint attachment. Additionally, pedal height is easily adjustable by breaking loose the jam nut, removing the clip, and threading the balljoint to your desired pedal height. A braided stainless steel line replaces the original line as well.
This is a must have upgrade for Evo X owners if you are installing an upgraded clutch, don't get left stranded!
PLEASE NOTE: We offer this kit with or without a stock replacement clutch master cylinder. If you would like to include a clutch master cylinder you have your choice of aftermarket or OEM Mitsubishi. We have not had any reported issues with the aftermarket clutch master cylinder and offer it to you as a cost effective alternative to the OEM unit.

GSC Power-Division Mivec S2 cams are designed for those with a GT35-GT37 Turbo. No low end power is lost vs the stock cams when used with the larger turbo. These pads feature a hotter compound than our standard Magic pads and are capable of maintaining braking efficiency up to 1000 degrees. Inevitably these will dust a little more than our Magic pads and can make a little noise from time to time however with our anti noise backing plates which all pads will come with we have heard very little to no noise from these pads.
Comparatively the Girodisc S/S pads perform very similarly to the Ferodo DS2500's, a pad which we have had very good luck with in the past.
