This was NOT a track test, but the X showed better numbers than in the above link as far as 1/4 times and of it's abilities http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lii_pDGCkE8

This one the guy seems to lean much more toward the X, though there are no numbers http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0...O-X_153204.htm

This the person says Mitsubishi claims it can lap the track 2 seconds faster than the Evo IX. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=122744 (On a side note, they talked about "the upcoming Evo RS" I haven't seen or heard about that in the U.S.)

So all in all neither beats the other by much... and who's driving it may be the deciding factor. Don't be fooled by the X being heavier and automatically assuming it's slower.
