Adrian's TTP Tuned '08 Evo X GSR trump's his Pop's 2010 GSR on the same day!

Like father, like son is the old saying. In this case it holds true. When Adrian and his pops went out car shopping they both had the same tastes. In Adrian's case, his flavor was the 2008 Evo X GSR while his father "Oscar" opted for the newer full color data screen equipped 2010 Evo GSR. The similarities did not there however. Adrian opted for the same catback exhaust from ERZ which was comprised of a twin exit 3" stainless steel polished system. Adrian also had the HKS drop in panel filter as we advised that there were not much if any gains over the panel filter on the Evo X at the stock turbo level.

Unfortunately for me, I had two customers here at the same time to get tuned both giving me the advice to give one of them the "edge" over the other one. To give a little extra boost in performance to one car or the other. Haha... I kindly explained that we tune all Evo's the same at TTP-Engineering. The car gets tuned to its optimum ability and each one of the engines will "do what it does". Each car tuned to a safe, yet powerful level of performance and aside from minor variances in car to car mechanics they technically should run about the same power and torque.

In this particular case however much of this held true except for one little detail. The wastegate actuator on the Evo X was not as preloaded as on the 2008. Therefore with both cars maxed out on the stock dual boost control solenoids, the 2008 would outboost the 2010 by about two psi. Allowing young Adrian here a slight edge over his pop's 2010 model. Adrian did not complain.

The stock tune was baselined at 275whp/279tq @ 1.00CF% uncorrected. With our remapping of the factory ECU and stock boost control solenoids however unlike his father's 2010, Adrian was able to achieve the 25psi peak we were expecting to see. This netted him a solid 322whp/315tq @ 1.00CF% uncorrected on the Mustang Dyno AWD-500. Results Adrian was more than happy with.

Good numbers, any other mods besides the drop in and exhaust and was it just cat back or a turbo back.

The car was modified on the baseline. There are no stock dynopulls. Not sure what you are referring to? Please enlighten us.

Please don't start anything about the dyno...we all know it will lead to arguing that goes off-topic
