2011 Evo X- BBX, AMS TMP CAMS, ID1000cc 93 octane Mustang Dyno

Hola,

Real quick I want to put this sheet up. I tuned this car last night and I am amazed. Honestly really great power band and super super smooth. BBX and the Green are great turbos for those looking to run moderate boost levels and want good power.

Also this car has our AMS "TMP" Cams and they are awesome! ( I know I am a little biased but really they are awesome!) This will be good for those that were on the fence about them on smaller frame turbos and stock motors. They make power for days.

Mods:

CBRD BBX
ID1000cc's
AMS/Kelford TMP Camshafts
Stock Block
Stock Head
Stock ECU
25psi of boost
93 octane
AMS FMIC
AMS UICP

other supporting mods exhaust, intake etc.

Really awesome car and power band.

I will also say that Mivec tuning was different on this car for the cams and I learn new things everyday!

Thanks for looking,

Very nice! I noticed the same with the S2's
What method of boost control for this graph?

Mitch -- great work man!

How confident do you feel about the stock block at these power/TQ levels?

I think for this level the block will be fine. I think really if there is a whole lot more power than this though a rebuild should really be done. Torque isn't really too crazy high and we soften torque through tuning a bit, so it is safe for sure.

we have run the stock block to 458whp on road race evo's with cams at 28-29 psi on 93 octane- yet to have a problem (now watch, one will probably grenade today lol)..

I think Mitch will agree- its the tuning that makes the difference-

I think many people found the 4b11T will make serious power on lean AFR's and lots of ignition advance- but shortly thereafter they found there were having failures

we lend things more on the cautious side.

great numbers Mitch!

Yeah I think there are a lot of ways to keep the motors together via tuning. We have done a lot of Evo X's and Chris and I have developed a pretty solid understanding of what works and what doesn't.

They do like to lean and do take a good amount of timing especially around peak torque areas, but can lead to some problems.

Awesome turbo Chad! But you already knew that lol
