Car feels amazing, can't wait to get it to the track this Spring.

I do say, I had a bit of an issue with my wastegate actuator. ATP sent it with a 9.5 turn pre load, I should have checked this before getting the turbo installed(It's so hard to do with turbo in the car). So I actually got it tuned with this much pre-load, TPG did an amazing job tuning this. I could imagine it was pretty tough considering it had that much pre load. I recently set the pre-load to about 3 turns. (I'm not sure if its in my head or not, but I feel like before spring comes along I'll prob get it tuned again, just because of that pre-load issue)
I might get a manifold as well so i'll need one anyway.
I swore I had a pull of 458/362ish but I can't find it. Oh well.

Out of curiosity what does a stock X make on this dyno, or your car when it was stock if it was on there?

thanks

Why are you concerned about preload? The car is tuned and runs fine, it doesn't have issues with making too much boost or boost creep (judging by the torque curve). Just leave it. TPG would have told you that there was an issue with it if they were having trouble controlling boost.

Well, I was hitting like 32-33 PSI in 4th gear at higher than 6k RPM.

When it was tuned and when we took it for a spin after the tune it didn't seem to do it.(Stayed around 27ish)
The more I drove the car the more it happened.(Prob about 2 weeks after getting the tune is when it happened a lot)
TPG helped me with the issue(They went though a few things with me to figure it out), even on spring pressure it would hit that.
I ended up checking the pre-load and things have been quite a bit better.
I'm sure it wouldn't have been much of an issue if i had the turbo ported or something I dunno.

I sadly never had mine on the dyno before I did my first few things to it(ETS Intake and OTS tune) Also when I showed up for my tune, I already had my Exhaust and Open dump on the car.

I think most people do 220-240 wheel on this dyno perhaps? I know thats a giant estimation.

Ah, so you were having issues with it. Gotcha.

that is impressive numbers especially for a mustang dyno on pump gas.

I have almost the exact same mods on mine minus a 3.5 MAF adapter as well As I have a tubular manifold.

Im guessing you have the 3"inlet on the turbo not the 2.5"?

I have just the "base" package. I never opted for the 4" inlet and 2" outlet with hose connection.

As far as i know there is no 4" inlet option only a 3". The turbo ships with a 2.5" inlet.

Also the 2"outlet is pretty useless as your still stuck with the outlet diameter of the compressor housing...

Well.
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=NEW

Upper right is where it states what I copy and pasted here:

Check this box if you would like to have the special comp housing wtih 4" inlet and 2" outlet with hose connection (non Evo X style)
I'm not sure what you mean by its useless?

It seems to be working ok for me.

Granted I do wish I went with the upgraded comp housing(Just because), not sure it even was any extra. It still has the 2 inch outlet.

I believe the 4" inlet and 2" outlet option looks like this: (as opposed to the Evo X style comp housing)
