Trust me I really want to do a flex tune 93/E85 on my setup, but I have the car up for sale at the moment due to changes in life and finances

Have you driven the Evo anywhere besides locally? I’m thinking of driving out to 5150 to mod my evo but I’m worried that once I’m no longer on CA gas and back home at altitude, the tune won’t be doing so well. This is why I haven’t modified it yet.

Oh yeah. I drove that sucker 3000 miles across the country when I moved to New Hampshire. And then moved again to Florida a year after that. Car has been all over the place. Never had any problems.

That’s great to hear! Sounds like I’ll be driving my FE out to CA to get it built and tuned.

what type of elevation are you talking about though? If it is high you should def get tuned using a tephra v3 rom with the RAX Patch as it has built in functions to compensate for elevation using the built in barometric sensor.

I wasn't aware of that. I routinely drive from Denver (~5,000ft) up to go snowboarding over Loveland or Berthoud pass (~12,000ft). I also road trip down to sea level so there is a pretty big pressure swing (over 5PSIa).

OP, what altitudes have you taken it to?
