Maciel's 2008 Evo X GSR - Stock block ETS 3586R GSC S2 E85

We retuned Maciel's Evo X last night. Since its a stock block we did a bunch of torque control to keep the engine happy. We could have extracted more horsepower from the vehicle, however the owner said he was more then satisfied as-is so we stopped the tune early leaving power on the table.

Mods are:

Stock block
ETS T3 HTA3586 turbo kit
TiAL wastegate
GSC S2 cams
Supertech dual valve springs and retainers
Walbro 450
Radium Fuel Rail
Fuelab FPR
Fuel injector Clinic 2150cc Injectors
ETS upper inter cooler pipe
AMS lower inter cooler pipe
AMS intercooler
AMS test pipe
Greddy Ti-C exhaust
4" intake for the turbo kit
Synapse Synchronic BOV

Graph: (As you can see, the power was still climbing as the RPM went up)

Nice results. Why not rev to 8k? I rev my stock block X to 8k without an issue so far (a little over a year now). 8300 is the actual rev limiter. Did it on stock valve train for about a year too.

Thanks Robert. I do have the limiter set around 8k on this car. The roads were wet so I'm guessing the owner got nervous. I'm guessing the cars around 560-570 once revved out and in better weather conditions. It was humid.

another example of how well these stock blocks hold up with a right tune. I know people still whine about the 4G block going away but I had faith in the 4B.

Great job!
