Hey what's up guys, so it's been about a month since I got my car tuned for Atlantic Motorsports. Thought I'd share my results anyways, I'm currently making 365.7WHP/338.5ft-lb. That was on a warmer day too, with the weather being around 40's Hi, I'm sure I'm making a bit more. :)
Anyways, here's the list..
Stock: Engine, transmission, injectors, turbo, waste gate.
ETS Intake
ETS UICP
ETS LICP
ETS 3.5" Intercooler
Ichiba DP

By the way, my clutch lasted no more than two weeks after the tune, my clutch died at around 13,000 miles. Lol... I just got my Clutch Masters FX300 (Stg 3) and SSP Clutch Master Cylinder :D

Nice to see good things coming from Atlantic again...Dan still doing the tuning there?

KarmaSRT Nov 5, 2010 08:03 PM

Dan is still there and yes and amazing tuner at that. They are great guys there and know what there doing

JiNSOO619 Nov 6, 2010 02:08 AM

Yup, Dan's still alive and well. Lol, my baseline actually wasn't really that much lower than what the graph was. Both Dan and I was pretty surprised, but after Dan tuned it. The feel of the car's completely different! So much smoother and powerband was spread out better. :)
Really happy with the results, I just can't wait till I get my clutch in, so I can actually start pushing the car around again.
I definitely do recommend Atlantic Motorsports though, they're really good on what they do.

Atlantic does do good work...I enjoyed going there....I think they hp reads pretty well as a dj, but their tq reads a bit higher
What was the baseline???

wrxnevox Nov 6, 2010 08:39 AM

how long it takes them to tune your car?and how much per hour?

I have a video up, I didn't remember what my baseline was. HP was around 350HP, but that's after they installed my Boost Controller and set it to 23psi. Before they set the Boost Controller to 23, I think it was around 19... so I'd guess 320'ish? But the graph was laid out MUCH better, powerband was pretty good through all revs.
I forgot to post up the video, I'll add that onto my first post. :D

They had trouble logging into my ECU 'cause the 2010 Evo's were much different from the 08's apparently. I honestly thought it was an excuse, until I used dynoflash to check for myself.. I still feel bad for giving them a hard time about it, I apologized so many times, but I still feel bad for my ignorance, lol. Even though I gave them a hard time, they gave me a discount, since it took a while to crack my ECU. They normally charge $450 though, and took Dan 5 pulls to get everything straight. :)

bump for Atlantic there good

griffeyr Nov 6, 2010 03:16 PM

Yeah when they tuned me on the stock turbo, it only took mike lke 3 pulls to get it dialed in
When i put the red and injectors on it, dan tuned on it for a while and made numberous pulls...But he took his time and got it dialed in....There a real cool bunch of guys....Cory, Dan, and Mason are all very helpful and knowledgable

Did you need a fuel pump? How much boost + what size injectors did you use?

a walbro pump was commonly used in the IX's, so yes i had one they installed....last time i was tuned there i used 880 injectors, and they tuned for 23.6 psi
