Just have some questions i currently have a 2014 MR and have the current Mods installed just wanna know in you're guys opinions how much HP should i have to the wheels with my current setup.
COBB SF INTAKE SYSTEM COBB ACCESS PORT V3 COBB UPPER AND LOWER HARD PIPING TURBOSMART DUAL PORT BOV COBB BOOST SOLANOID AMS FONT INTERCOOLER AMS WIDEMOUTH DOWNPIPE INVIDIA Q300 FULL EXHAUST . THANKS :D ALSO, I LIVE IN STATEN ISLAND NEW YORK AND IF ANYONE CAN LET ME KNOW A PLACE TO GET A PROPER TUNE TO UNLOCK THE MOST HP IT WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED. |
Somewhere between 300 on a Mustang and 9000 on a Dynojet.
|
320-350 dj.
|
My parts list is in my signature and in Central Florida on pump 93 I make 360. Mechanically we have very similar parts so I would be surprised if you were too much lower.
I also know a guy who repairs keyboards. He might be able to get that caps lock fixed. **I don't actually have the turbo installed yet, I'm mid project on that one** |
Well every dyno reads different, so on a mustang do not be surprised if you don't hit 300. On a dynojet probably between 300-330 for your MR.
When I had the same mods as you I made 270 whp on a low reading mustang dyno. It was disappointing to talk about, but it was good enough to keep up with an 03 terminator on a roll. |
Since no one else has commented yet on tuning. You are less than 2 hours from Vinny Ten Racing, that's probably who I would go with.

Doesn't cobb offer a "Street Dyno" in the accessport?
|
Yes. There is a "dyno" feature on the accessport under the performance tab, but it is not very accurate. I did three pulls using that feature and all of them were different by a couple 100 HP and TQ.
I have found that the 0-60 is pretty accurate along with the 1/4 mile trap speed feature. |
Thats what I thought. My friend had it on his 3 speed and it showed 1000hp. Only reason why I asked is because I came from a b5 s4 which I self tuned and the "street dyno" was within 5-10whp accurate all the time. Granted road incline and what not.
|
Well I have seen some success stories from other accessport users but not many. It truly is hit and miss. I just don't believe in running my car hard without accurate results. Use it at your own risk though.
|
I know what you mean. I still new to the evo software, but Im sure there is something out there that datalogs and has a "virtual dyno" 2 in one combo. Evoscan? Not sure, Im waiting for my cable to come in.
Ps, didn't mean to thread jack. To answer your question, check out iveytune in Linden, Nj |
check out Prime motoring in jersey or EFI logics in Connecticut for tuning

On my MR I made around 305/315 on Iveys Dyno jet. I've ran with other evos from other tuners making alot more and still have a faster car. Mods are Cobb v3 protune, ETS test pipe, ETS V2 "Quiet", ETS uicp, Grimmcock ebc, HKS drop in panel filter. Very basic setup.
