What guages come with the x? boost guage? ect.
Just make sure you find a way to correct the SRS issue will have. After this video (linked below) I watched, it looks like big brother will have all eyes on certain things being unplugged and reinstalled. Guy in the vid unplugged his audio amp, and it datalogged/recorded time of disconnect and time of reconnect...delete button FTW! .....but who knows what it inbeds permanently...?? My guess the SRS items may be 'on the list' that will always be there for the dealer to read if something occurs. I say leave the A pillar bags there. And in no time, there will be gauge mounting solutions available.

Damn a boost gauge would be nice. Sucks they don't have one. But the A-pillar gauges aren't such a good idea cuz of the SRS in the pillar. Oh well we'll have to get more creative. Nothing you can't do with some fiberglass and a little bit of will power.

With some of the advanced SRS that are coming standard in the cars now it might also cause such problems as to require full reset of the SRS system. I'd hate to have some put in an a-pillar cluster and then have a problem with the whole SRS system all together and you know its a pain in the A$$ to reset those systems you're looking at a pretty hefty repair bill if they have to reset the bags.
hmm
well even disconnecting/uninstalling things. They're still there. People complain that they are heavy cars. I mean, i have yet to experience the ipact/event of a car accident. Most of my project cars haven't had saftey items due to teh fact that i just didn't care
I'd remove the bags for the curtian at least, or other things that won't make a big impact in an accident.
But i'm sure if you got into the system/programming enough, you could some how incorporate boost control, data logging and other things with the system available. Unless you dont have nav stuff. Customers freak out when i show them that it does more then select radio stations and POI's. It graphs things and all such. But that would be too much, im sure somebody would charge hella for it tho
