Missing my bass

I'm just curious if anyone else has owned a non-performance car with a decent sound system before they got the EVO? I had an Accord sedan before this with a huge box in the trunk and I loved the bass. At first when I got the EVO, I was fine without it. But lately, man I've been missing it. But I'm torn because one, it's a performance car and two if I had a box in the back then I wouldn't even be able to get my golf clubs in the trunk. Wondering if anyone else felt this way.

I've got a 10"w6 thats sufficient.

I miss the 2 12w6s I had in my ls1 powered blazer, but like I said it's sufficient.

You must not have seen the trunk in an X. Unless you're using the OEM location/box for a subwoofer, any sub in the trunk will kill the chance to use your trunk for anything else.

I have the SSS as well and as far as the bass goes, it's anything but nice.

In the X? Do you have any trunk space left?

Did you use the OEM location and enclosure? If not, can you still fit a bag of golf clubs in there?

The bass in my Evo sounds ok when it is set to the lower volume, but the higher the volume the less the bass sorta like it is regulated. This has kinda got me bored with my stock set up.
