Upgraded firmware, no RTT...?

Upgraded firmware, no RTT...?

am i missing something or mistranslated something that was said in the threads? i thought that firmware 40.xx and up had RTT. i upgraded today from 39 to 60.xx, drove around all day, but saw no indication that RTT was working. someone wanna school me on this?

Do you subscribe to Sirius? I think the real time traffic requires a Sirius subscription.

Are the firmware upgrades only through GPS updates?

oh....that might explain it...actually, i thought that was it too, but someone else said RTT can be fetched from the local radio station, and i assumed it meant a "free" local radio station.

okay, someone must be pulling my strings. i called sirius today trying to add navtraffic, they said my sirius id can only support audio. what, only the 40gb version can support RTT?

i do not subscribe to anything...........my RTT works fine.

so what happens when you hit the RTT button on the screen ?
