2011 GSR Steering Wheel Control wiring
Im installing an Axxess steering wheel control module to use the stock steering wheel controls with an aftermarket JVC headunit.
The instructions it came with indicate pin 19 on the stock wiring harness is the signal wire, but that pin is not populated on the wiring harness. It also says to ground pin 9, so Id like to verify that is the correct pin as well.
Does anyone know what the correct pin to tap into is? Or have the pin out for the stock harness?

you're looking at the harness from the wrong direction if you don't see them populated. however what i think you meant is you're trying to find them on the metra-side harness. look at the actual car's harness...the colors listed on metras site are incorrect too, IIRC both the wires you need at the harness are black/light blue stripe.

9 and 19 are definitely the wires you want here.
After installing this unit and comparing its performance against the PAC-SWI I had in my S2000, I am ecstatic with the Metra unit. It auto-detects the configuration so you just hook it up and it works. It is programmable if you want to remap your buttons, as well. There is also no lag with this unit, compared to the PAC unit. Im very happy.
This is it entirely. I was noobing out and looking at the harness from the wrong side.

Hey ProjectGSX, I made the same assumption, I'm waiting for my ASWC to arrive and getting my self ready, if you look at the 20 pin unit head on it appears that 2 and 12 are the pins to use. 2 is a blue wire and 12 is black, did you connect 2 (BLUE)to the ASWC's Black/Green and ground 12 (BLACK)?
