Question Need advice on smartphone integration setups

I just got myself an 08 GSR, and I am looking to integrate my Android phone with the SSS Audio the car comes with.

I have the SSS Rockford radio, with the RCA (the red and white audio jacks) auxiliary input down and back behind the ashtray. My old setup with my Eclipse was to mount a car dock at the top center of the dash, then run charging and aux cables up from where the jacks are in the car. I will be using the phone to navigate and to listen to music/podcasts. The problem with this setup in the Evo is that it would block the clock and radio station screen, which I would use every once in a while. Mounting the dock up high on the windshield has the same problem, and requires a much longer aux cable.

My question to you all is, does anyone have a setup that integrates their phones to the car audio like this? And if so, what are they? I don't want to replace the head unit. Pictures are encuraged.

On a second, shorter note, what auxiliary cables are you all using? I'm having a hard time finding a 3.5mm to RCA cable at my local Target and RadioShack. Links to the cables that have worked best for you would also be appreciated!

Thanks, all!

I just use a standard car charger, window mount and this cable:
