Just picked up a X today. Its an 08 MR with navigation. The car just has a plug where the aux unit would be at. I pulled the cover off, found 2 wires taped together with electrical and one thin speaker wire by itself. The two wires together where like regular audio/video cables, red head and yellow head. The other wire was just a white wire that looked like a remote type wire or something. Reading through all the install threads and stuff this makes no sense to me unless this guy had a sound system in the car or it didnt come stock with navi.


Anways I should probably just go get the correct wire from radio shack to test it but all I can think of is..

The car was rigged up with what the person had on hand and the yellow may actually be a white and I may have a white and red wires.

The white wire is shoved up in the dash somewhere and I can only find the red and yellow one.

wtf is the white wire for... its just cut and hanging there...

This probably makes no sense sorry. thanks if you can help.
