Battery icon on after dash lights go out, no crank
Wondering if anyone experienced this or if it's common.
It only happened twice. First occurred 3 weeks at at around 18k miles on my 2015 X. Turn the fast key to On, all lights go out except the battery one. Twist the key to ignition and nothing. I was in front of an Advance Auto Parts so had the battery tested. Passed OK. Reinstalled and car started normally.
A week ago, same, this time I only turned the ignition key off, then back to On, then it cranked.
Don't want to get stranded somewhere so wondering how to troubleshoot this, or if it's safe to ignore. There are no CEL on the dash. I have a volt meter connected all the time and it always reads between 13.8 and 14.4V. Both times it happened in somewhat warm summer temperatures. First time it happened after a short drive, maybe 3 minutes from one spot to Advance Auto. Second was after a very long drive so in that instance, battery should have been well charged.
