ERROR DC - Stock Fosgate unit
Getting an ERROR DC on the display and unit won't work. Checked the connectors to the amp and checked the fuse no issue. Would this be an amp issue?

It looks like the "DC Error" message is displayed when there's a problem with the power supply for the stereo. The root cause is most likely to be a shorted or grounded speaker wire or something else caused the stereo to output the rated power. Sometimes pulling the radio fuse and putting it back will clear it. Or, in some cases, not in all, a weak battery causes this error to be displayed so you might want to check the battery voltage if the fuse doesn't fix it.

Thanks for the response. It's strange this afternoon the LED screen just started functioning and all the controls responded, just no sound. Stopped and restarted and the Error DC came up. Must be a short/ground/lose wire somewhere.
I'll keep looking.

The wiring checks out fine. Must be a failed amp. The local Mitsubishi stealership wants $1085 for a POS OEM amp for a 6 year old car. Any aftermarket options? I'm getting the car ready to sale and it's the only part not working on the whole car.
