I'm not a vendor....

but..

RC has 1000cc injectors ready. I have a set that's waiting to go into my car.

Precision has 880's (if I am not mistaken) Vivid Racing has them, and I think anyone that is a Precision dealer can get.

Greddy/Denso Injectors - not 100% sure

That's all I know so far.

Looks like I'll place an order to get some RC's, can I get them through Mike @ RRE?

I think I've read that you can modify the stock injectors to flow more on a flow bench although not sure what the cost of that would be compared to just buying new injectors with the correct specs. Not too many Evo X owners need them yet but if you are going over 24 PSI to redline on a larger turbo, it's always safer to make sure the fuel is there rather than run at 100% duty cycle and find out after you damaged the engine.

Chris,

Shoot Mike an Email - mike@roadraceengineering.com

I think he might have a few sets in stock, I think Mike is going to order the precision ones as well.

I see what your getting at, but I think there are a few drawbacks of that....

Usually when you machine an injector, you cant "go back to stock" once it's done, it's done. You'd have to buy a brand new set of OEM injectors.

Since the Evo X is new, a vendor, or shop ect. would have to have a quick turn around time, since most people use there X's as daily drivers.
Or have a set pre made (core charge) ect.

All in all, It would probably be the "cheapest" route... as compared to buying a new set of injectors.

I personally think most people would not wanna mess with there OEM injectors.

Just my .02 cents.

Do the precisions require a pigtail like the RC's? I have the RC 750's installed currently, but I'm not happy with the pigtail adapter situation.

I believe the RC's have a spacer as well, thats what I heard, but I am not sure so don't take my word for it.

Sure do, They forgot to ship them with my injectors...... Had to get them to over night them. I'm not real happy with the design of the RC's in comparison to the stockers, anyone that has looked at a removed stock injector will know what I'm talking about..

It would be nice to see a direct replacement on the market that does not require:
1. Modifying your stock injectors
2. Core exchange on your stock injectors
2. Using a harness adapter
3. Spacer / Rail modification

I agree. I'm curious though, with your new turbo setup what are your IDCs with the new injectors? Also, in your experience with your evo 8 and from having worked on many evos, what is the best quality brand for injectors in your opinion? Thanks, and I'll be calling you about a tune by the middle of next month.
