need some help?
what is stock boost?
Mods on my X: AMS intake; AMS uicp; Greddy 3" downpipe; AMS 3" testpipe; custom straight pipe exhaust and a hallman MBC, and prosport boost gauge
Now my question is..... what is a good boost level would you recommend so that it runs safe enough that i won't blow anything, but still get some umfff to it to kill some cars? i was thinking setting it at factory setting psi 21 but i'm not sure what the stock setting is. and for my x when i down it to 3rd and gun it, my boost shoots up to 17-19 psi, and when i just stomp on the pedal in 5th it shoots up to 20.....now when people say it boosts stock 21 psi, thats in which gear? cuz i know that 3rd gear is our strongest gear so is the stock 21 psi gonna show in 3rd, or is it 5th? please someone school me, lol i'm confused. help me understand plz.
