I'm kind of questioning how well the 1300's work. I've been reading way too many threads about issues with these injectors. There are many many injectors out there on the market, and nobody has had any complaints lately, except for the 1300's. Time will tell if it is just user error, or something else. I don't want to point fingers yet, but again, lots of thread have popped up lately.
right, i agree with you with your first paragraph at idle. some people think that because they get bigger injectors they're going to use more fuel or get more power, wrong. however, your statement doesn't apply in our situation. the car could make more power but because we are maxing out the 1000s it is deprived of that power because the injectors literally can't support the demand, hence maxed out duty cycles. with the 1300s we ran into the problem of enough injectors but not enough pump to back up the flow of the delivered fuel.

I also agree with you that there have been quite a few threads on this subject. i guess time will tell.

Yes, if the fuel pump can not maintain pressure then trying to control fuel will be difficult.

I do remember speaking with the OP on the phone last week and IIRC, the issue that he was having was maintaing the right AFR's at high rpm's. Maxing out a pump could certainly cause this.

As with any new product there will be a learning curve, but more so with a large high impedance injector and the tuning required for them. Tuning a injector of this size is probably something better left to a professional tuner but we are always more than happy to give all the support we can to the individual attempting to tune their own car.

All the shops/tuners we worked with during pre-release of the injectors had good results in being able to get spot on with the fueling. They include HB Speed, Road Race Engineering, MA Performance, Cobb Tuning Plano, Cobb Tuning Surgeline, GST Motorsports and others. In addition, a community member, Hollywood_X, got ahold of a set and did a review on tuning them on here, check out his thread.

thanks for the feed back deatschwerk! and again, thank you for taking the time to talk to me over the phone. Great customer service! I totally agree with you on the learning curve for the new product. and i'm curious to see what kind of vehicles all those shops tried your injectors on. 450+ or >, otherwise they wouldn't encounter my problem. and I know Hollywood also had issues with his set up originally but he smooth it out by teaking the latencies and scaling a bit and it worked for him. i'm not quite sure if he is 450+whp as well though. And i understand your concern about forums members (like myself) making these threads about your product without a profesional name or reputation to back up what their saying, but then again tuning injectors is no rocket science. all in all i really think it was the pump that failed on us and we'll find out soon since my brother ordered a new walbro. we've had great experience with your 1000s though and again, thanks for the great customer service from you guys!
