Just had some Kelford 214B installed, made over 400 whp, they advised me they had an ACS light go off and I knew this was because of the 30psi spike. I picked the car up on Saturday. The only person in the shop was a tech to hand me the keys, rest of shop was off due to weekend. I took it out and it felt great!!....right up untill I pulled out on the freeway and hit the throttle, all of a sudden my boost when from 28 to max out at 15 psi...I was like what the *&^%!!! Nobody is back in the shop untill monday, and I was trying to figure some things out. The first thing that comes to mind is some sort of boost leak, it wont hold more then 15 psi, I have an upgraded Forced Performance actuator, FP Red, halman mbc.

Some it comes down to this: New cams, and it wont hold boost more the 15 psi. I can hear the forced air being pushed out from what sounds like the trubo area. Any help or advice would be great.

 

Upper intercooler pipe or coupler popped off--- no bigge, you can fix it yourself.

That was it, the upper intercooler pipe where it attaches to the intercooler popped off. 10 minute fix, thank you so much!!! BACK TO 415 WHP!!!!!

wow...you think I would'nt pop the hood before making a post and checking out myself, and then you post something about it?? fail on your part buddy. I went as far as checking all 5 bolts on the downpipe, the exhaust mainifold, the turbo inlet housing, lower icp, cold air intake piping, and missed it by a 1 mm gap in the intercooler. THAT is why I posted, and it worked. So where is the fail??

 

I wouldn't worry about it my man...you got what you needed from this post. Same thing happened to my UICP and now you know for next time
