2011 GSR Brake Boosting
And wow holy thread derail lol.
sorry about the late response, I forgot about this thread
???
The center diff opens when you use the e-brake. Add in WOT and you get lots of front-tire smoke.
As to the question of LFBing, while I've never had a situation where this was needed for more than a second or so and I've never been at WOT at the same time, I never felt any throttle-cut when LFBing, so I don't see a problem here. Now, if Rich or anyone else could get rid of the throttle-cut portion of the Stage One traction control so that we could keep the single-wheel braking but not have the ECU mess with the throttle mid-corner, I'd be sooooo happy.

If I'm at the track, and I left-foot brake to try to get the nose around on a corner where I don't have to downshift, and the car falls on it's face, is that a situation where we can get some help?
I'm not saying it happens, I'm saying there could be a situation on a track where this ECU nanny hampers the fun.

I don't know how much boost it builds as I don't have a boost gauge, but it enough to get me moving without waiting for spool up... I've brakeboosted for ~5 seconds, it builds boost and holds it... maybe its part of something English does with the tune... I don't remember trying to brake boost on the stock tune...

Maybe 56890009 doesn't or 56890007 (which was my original ROM but isnt very well supported). I never tried on 0007 because that was before I started tuning the car and went with the most supported ROM for obvious reasons.
according to the TSB for OUR (AUDM) 2012's they included "Brake Override".
which (unless your stationary) prevents the throttle from being actuated when the brake pedal is down..
soooo - im gonna have to fix it I guess

What ROM are you running on your car? I've asked this before I believe which would tell us if it was a revision that caused it. I am on 56890010 which has the issue.
