Evo X MR E85 Build
Hello all! This is my second thread here on Evolutionm forums. I just bought my first Evo. A 2013 Evo MR. I'm thinking on making the conversion to E85 but I dont know much about the conversion whatsoever. I searched the forums for information on it but I want info specifically for an MR which I wasn't finding. Just curious on costs and any other pertinent information on it and where I can find parts. The car is completely stock right now. My main question is wondering if I can run on 93 Octane and E85 with a conversion. I know some Jeeps can do this and just curious if I convert if I can fill with 93 if I'm not finding E85. Thank you all for any info you may be able to supply me with.

There are certain shops that can do a "flexfuel" so that you can run both E85 and regular pump in the same tank. However, if you do a strictly E85 tune, you cannot run pump gas on that tune and vice versa.
Things you will need:
Bigger fuel pump ($~300) and injectors (1000 CC or bigger probably 500-600) and a retune ($500 or so).

Quesiton #2 - HP goal? Under 400hp or above?
Regular dual map setup for max 400hp (you'd need aftermarket turbo to exceed this)
ID 1000 injectors
Walbro 255 pump
Inline Fuel filter
ID 1000 injectors
Dual map tune
Flexfuel setup for max 400hp
same as above but add
- flex fuel tune (more expensive than a dual map tune and requires tephra v3)
- Flex fuel kit
Above 400hp you'd need bigger pump and bigger injectors (next increment would be ID 1300 + walbro 450)
