New to Evos. Few questions

Had an 11' STI for the past year and made the transition to an evo a week ago. Got my car off of an older gentleman and the car is bone stock and sits at 40k. Ordered Corsa CBE last week. My plan for the car is full exhaust and a few supporting mods, nothing crazy. I plan on going the pro tune route over ots. I don't want to mod the car at all until I know what works well with these cars and what doesn't. I'd appreciate any help/suggestions you guys have. Thanks so much!

Welcome to the forums! I would stick to your basic bolt ons, this will yield the most power on a relatively stock setup. Intake, exhaust, test pipe?, EBCS, intercooler and a tune. Thats a pretty reliable setup and should give you a decent power bump over stock.

Also, take a look at the maintenance schedule and make sure you follow it. These cars are pretty damn reliable, so long as you take care of them. And definitely do a simple rundown of the mechanical bits before you start aiming for power (spark plugs, secure FPR hose, upgraded fuel relays, etc)

Change your oils, including transmission and differentials before any mods.

Unless you have deep pockets I'd stick with the stock turbo and do full bolt-ons. That's what I've done and I've been running this setup for almost 6 years with zero issues. Nice and reliable plus more than enough power for the street.
