AMS Intake Maps for EVOX Now available!!
New COBB Tuning AccessPORT maps are now available for the EVO X AMS short ram intake.
These maps have been calibrated specifically for the AMS Short Ram Intake for both Stage 1 and Stage 2 cars. Versions of these maps for 93 octane, 91 octane and 91 octane ACN (AZ, CA, NV) fuels are available. We have now also added Stage 1 maps for the COBB Tuning SF Intake. Will this calibration work with the AMS cold air at all or are you working on that map separately?

These maps have been calibrated specifically for the AMS Short Ram Intake for both Stage 1 and Stage 2 cars. A question for AMS, what amount does the intake with slightly larger MAF section shift the AFR. Is it around .3-.5 AFR leaner or more? |
Just don't know why it was phrased like that. MAF housing is the same on short ram and cold air intakes. Was wondering if bends and placement made that big of difference on AFR/MAF readings between the two intakes.
|
Do the intakes even make a gain on power? I see that that AEM and AMS power gain on all maps are the same as the staged maps without intakes.

Stage 2 is the cold air piping extension so it applies to both as far as I understand that sentance. BTW the link is bad up above. :P

Just wanted to point out that the Harman Motive intake is the EXACT same as the AMS short intake... So for the ones who want to save $100 for the exact same intake I would imagine the AMS intake tune would work for the Harman Motive intake...
Not saying this for sure but if you look at both the pictures of each intake you can see what I mean.. |
Just reflashed with it on stage 2, thanks.

The new maps are designed for the AMS SHORT RAM ONLY. We have done no testing with the cold air version of this intake. We have no data to confirm or deny the claim that the AMS short ram and cold air behave identically to each other. For any questions about MAP performance, please refer to the map notes on the COBB Tuning website.
