FIC 1100's Experience?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the FIC 1100's. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these injectors? Tuneability, driveability, idle/part throttle issues and overall satisfaction. ...

ive heard good things. I think I am going to try and buy a set

They tune easy enough :), idle and supply more fuel than most people will probably ever need unless you are on a big turbo or E85.

Wait til Tuesday night and ill have first hand knowledge on a IX. I can let you know then.

Where can I find those? Are they plug and play?

From what I have seen they are working very well. My friend will be testing them out today or tomorrow.

Cool, can you report the results?

They are plug and play for the 8/9s but the X will require an adapter clip.

Best 1000-1100 cc/min injector I've tried on my Evo 9. Extremely happy with them. No plans to try any other injector.

Who's Jens?

I know there is a PNP harness adapter...

fostytou Apr 5, 2010 07:29 AM

I picked some up direct from FIC for my X. They were running a sale for free harness with purchase, so it was $450 shipped (but I'm not sure if thats still on).

The end of the pintle is shorter than mrfred's pics, but I assume they'll perform the same.

Hopefully I can get them in this week!

unclecomfort Apr 5, 2010 09:31 AM

With the adapter clip, this will be plug and play to the X right?

Bump for anyone to share their experience running this in a X on pump gas?

tephra Apr 6, 2010 04:57 AM

This is the info I got from Jens a couple of months back:

So if you are looking for over 1000cc in flow, I would suggest the new
1100cc EV14 injectors for your ride. Item number is IS127-1100H and they are
$450 including US ground shipping. Since you need a plug change for this
injector, we provide pigtails with the set, or you can upgrade to plug and
play adaptors for an extra $45.
Price *may* have changed since!

They are working well on the evo 9 of my friends. They also flow a bit more than the other design that was used which is nice. Idle quality is like stock. No reason to run any smaller or lesser quality injector in an evo application at this time.

Ok, Ok, I'm buying them, what scaling did you guys use, and is this on 91-93 octane?
