Evoscan settings for 55580006
2 Attachment(s)
I was looking for evoscan settings for 55580006. Working with hamish to troubleshoot why I was unable to log my 2010 evoX, we found that the current evoX settings in evoscan dont work for this rom. Its apparently a combination of 2010 RA and 2010 EvoX SST. So I figured out some of these settings using the 2010 EVOX USA xml from evoscan as base, looking at Merlin's guide for MUT addresses, and the MUT table values in my ROM (as guided by Hamish). I have attached the MUT table from my ROM as a screenshot.
I am looking for some help figuring out the missing entries here (and verify the ones I have ? against), or better yet if somebody has already solved this before they could upload their evoscan setting to help me out. Thanks Here is the table I am working on:

Here you go:
Code:
<DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="2-Byte RPM" LogReference="2ByteRPM" RequestID="2380875c" Eval="3.90625*x" Unit="rpm" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="2" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="8000" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="8000" ScalingFactor=".1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" /> |
Not only did I post these addresses over a year ago, I also emailed them to Hamish.
It may have been a lot easier to ask or search for them than to trouble our New Zealand friend. |
Thanks razorlab. I will try that out.
Golden, I had posted a thread to try and troubleshoot, with logs and roms, but didnt get much response. it started off with me trying out the evoscan setting for evox, that didnt work, so had to contact hamish to find out what could be wrong. Didnt really think that if all evox's are the same, the default settings wouldn't work. So after some trial and error, hamish suggested i try RA settings instead, which worked for some of the parameters. It would be good to add these definitions to evoscan's default listing, if I am not the only one with this rom, instead of the users to look for it on the forums. |

Again, I have emailed them to Hamish. I'm not sure why EvoScan doesn't come with newer scalings. I've also told him that I can create addresses for any, yes any rom out there in seconds. I wrote an application to do it for me. Along the same lines, EcuFlash hasn't updated it's definition files in a long time either. Colby could grab all the ones off my site and include them in a release. But I don't have control over their software. |
Yea Evoscan is a little slow on the uptake.
What would be awesome would be the ability to "synch" to a XML server, kinda of like what virtual dyno does with the vehicle settings. Then Evoscan could be up to date all the time, with minimal effort. |

I just picked up a 2011 Evo X GSR and when I started building my Evo 8 there was no ECUFlash like today so I am fluent in AEM Series 1 and AEM Series 2 cause that’s what that car is running but ECUFlash looks like Chinese to me still sometimes lol So much hacking in my future I don’t even know where to start sometimes guess I am a little set in my familiar zone for AEM. I’m going to pick up the Tatrix cable in the next couple weeks and start logging and find out which rom my car actually has so I can tinker around and learn this tuning solution. |
Very helpful thread.....
