well i just installed the injen intake, which comes with the upper intercooler pipe and i LOVE it!!! It is a lot louder than stock and can def hear the turbo spool up, throttle response is much quicker now and you can feel the hp gains it gives. i havent gotten it dynoed yet so i dont know what the numbers actually are, but can def feel a difference. on top end the car doesnt jerk or bog down anymore and i have a hks bov which sounds a lot different than before the install, and for the price, it was very much worthe it, great job to injen for a fantastic product!

not to get too off topic, but i see you have the HKS SSQV. what's your review on them? and does it come with the piping?

That set up looks very nice in black, congrats I have a feeling you gained like 25whp.
If that was true it's worth 450 or dollars you payed for it.
I am still researching my intake and UICP combo but now that I see this I might buy Injen as well.

 

personally i love it and i never had a problem running the bov without recirculating it, the car never bogs down, idles great, no black smoke from the tail pipes, maybe i just got lucky, but works fantastic. and yes, if you buy the hks kit for the X it will come with the piping and intructions and all hardware required

 

looks good, i would prefer they used a cover or something over the filter, to keep it stealthy for use cali guys

 

i used to have the hks and didnt really like it...ive had like 5 different bov's in my time...the one i run on my evo is the old school greddy type s....no problems whatsoever

no, it is useless because the filter has been moved over to the side and the is a heat shield so its pointless

 

Where you able to get that video of the intake in your car? I searched but couldn't find anything.

Not to be the downer but I dont like it man. The intercooler pipe goes from silver to black, your bov piping is chrome with blue couplers, you have random red things everywhere, and then your intake is black. Too many conflicting colors imho.
