hks legamax with 3" midpipe

need your opinion guys...

would this 3" midpipe make a rear section hks legamax exhaust loud or would it stay pretty close to the same sound it has with it's 2.5" midpipe counterpart?

hks legamax rear section:

it makes the car a little more noticeable, but still to the average person the car would still sound fairly stock. i have a tbe with this exhaust and HFC and it only screams when going WOT to redline. other than that there is a low rumble at idle.

yeah, i wouldn't go with Legamax if you want sound. HKS has a Hi-Power exhaust coming out, louder and 3".

From what I have seen personaly, they arent too loud. If your a quieter guy, but still want a nice sound at WOT, then this is perfect.

Even using the 3 inch center pipe, the tone should still be quiet.

I have the HKS legamax axleback with a custom 3" centerpipe with no resinator and 3" testpipe and it's pretty loud... You really gotta break in the muffler so it flows better inside as well as it being louder. I did the axleback first and i was dissapointed because it was too quiet. Once i got the custom 3" centerpipe it was still pretty quiet but got a little louder but once i got the 3" ATP testpipe and after 3 weeks... it's pretty loud and drones like mad at high RPM and pops as well. You will notice the sound of the exhaust with my setup at any RPM range but outside you will notice the sound of the exhaust once you hit boost and yes it is pretty noticable from the outside as well as inside the cabin. At idle it still rumbles and you can hear it from the outside but the deep tone to it makes it not as loud and you can fly under the radar of police since it's not too loud or too fancy for them to know you have and exhaust. It's a pretty good axleback but for the price honestly, i would of gone with something else. i hope that helps you

i have the hks legamax and the midpipe. Sounds stock during idle, but once your moving you will notice the sound of an aftermarket exhaust.
